About LATMOS Laboratoire Atmosphères, Observations Spatiales
Laboratoire (UMR 8190, CNRS/UPMC/UVSQ) spécialisé dans l'étude des processus physico-chimique fondamentaux régissant les atmosphères terrestres et planétaires et de leurs interfaces: surface, océan, milieu interplanétaire et rayonnement solaire. Ce laboratoire (issue du rapprochement du SA et du CETP) développe une forte compétence instrumentale, construit des instruments innovants et déploie également des modèles numériques d'atmosphère. LATMOS is focused on fondamental physico-chemistry processes drinving our atmosphere and their interfaces: surface, ocean, interplanetary medium and solar forcing. The laboratory is using mainly an instrumental approach, building innovative instruments and is also developing atmospheric numerical models. En 2016, nous avons fêté les 20 ans de SOHO, les 10 ans de IASI et de Calipso, et les 25 ans du réseau NDACC et poursuivons l'exploitation de ces fabuleux dispositifs instrumentaux. Pour 2017, nous poursuivrons, les efforts pour former nos jeunes collègues aux techniques du spatial, ou concernant la recherche des atmosphères terrestre et planétaires. Nous continuerons à développer également les partenariats avec les écoles et partenaires industriels.
