L.A.C.A.E (Latin American Community Association of Edinburgh) is a registered Scottish charity dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting Latin American culture while fostering integration and wellbeing across Scotland. Founded by Tatiana Barros and Mercedes Sullca Estrada, with the help of David Cohen, Albi Mendoza and Christophe Burrillon L.A.C.A.E creates inclusive spaces where communities can connect, express their identity, and build a sense of belonging. We act as a cultural bridge between Latin American and Scottish communities—bringing people together through creativity, collaboration, and shared experiences. What We Do Deliver cultural workshops in dance, music, arts, and wellbeing Run youth programmes that empower children and young people through creativity Host community events and festivals, including LatinA-Fest.
