Lokring is a mechanical method for producing permanent weld equivalent pipe connections, eliminating the need for hotwork & the associated health & safety issues. Our products bring significant benefits in both new installations & maintenance applications, enabling pipework installations up to 70% faster & cost saving of up to 70% compared to welding. Lokring products meets are qualified to ASME B31.1 & B31.3 & conform to the requirements of API 570 for use on permanent new construction & also for repairs, alterations & rerating pipework as per API 750 section 8. Some of the key benefits of using Lokring are: • Weld Equivalent Permanent Pipe Connections. • Qualified to API (American Petroleum Institute) 570. • Fire Tested to API 607. • No hot-work, hot-work permits, firewatch, or weld fumes. • Works with ASME standard pipe as well as the DIN & British Standard pipe. • Works on old & new pipework. • Lines do not need to be decontaminated or dried. • No NDT required.
