We are London’s most central airport and known internationally for our punctuality, speed of service and award-winning customer experience - from door to gate in under 20 minutes and getting out of the airport in as little as five. In 2024, we also completed a significant upgrade to our departure lounge, with 30% more seating, two new restaurants, duty free expansion, more washrooms and a brand-new look and feel throughout. London City Airport connects to over 30 leisure and business destinations in the UK, Europe and beyond, and in 2025 we are once again named London’s Best Airport by Which?. London City Airport is a major part of the local economy and is one of the largest private employers in Newham. Recognised by the Mayor of London’s Good Work Standard, the airport pays employees at least the London Living Wage and recruits locally. As a long-term contributor to the community, we run a number of programmes to raise aspirations, inspire students and prepare local people for work.
