Luceda Photonics’ tools and services are rooted in over 50 years of experience in photonic integrated circuit (PIC) design. The team’s expertise in the development of process design kits (PDK) and the design and validation of photonic integrated circuits is used by several research institutes and industrial R&D teams worldwide. Luceda Photonics is a spin-off company of imec, the Photonics Research Group at the Ghent University and the B-PHOT team at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) Luceda Photonics offers IPKISS, a complete design framework, including measurement feedback for true component validation. ☞ It includes a state of the art component library with specialized components, adaptable to all technologies. ☞ Built on years of design experience and used to validate over 300 designs. ☞ Its centralized data management provides you with a robust, time saving and error reducing design flow. ☞ Versatile, high level python scripting, enables easy customization and integration of existing solvers. In addition our design and fab expertise can save you considerable design time and can enable you to meet tape-out deadlines. Luceda offers services to help you with: ☞ front-end circuit-level design and simulation ☞ layout to match your fab's design rules ☞ tape-out support, closing the gap between you and the fab ☞ design kit creation We can help your organization streamline its design flow.
