Based in Fair Oak, Hampshire, Metis Homes was founded in 2007 by current managing director Adam O’Brien and former managing director Tony Burton. Metis Homes has been funded by the RO since its inception in 2007. The RO Group is a privately owned family business, which has been in operation for 87 years, and has a passion for property. In 2021 Metis Homes acquired an established building contractor to integrate into the business enabling Metis Homes to become a complete housebuilding business, creating a platform to deliver 100 homes per annum. The RO Group provides a substantial financial resource to the Metis business and indeed adds its own property and trading expertise as necessary.
