About Miracle Travel Works
It is an unfortunate fact that each and every day, loving, caring parents are forced to watch helplessly as their children suffer from heartbreaking illness and injury. The costs for medical treatments can easily skyrocket, and many families find themselves in the terrible position of not being able to afford the best treatments for their children, especially if travel is involved. Additionally, while they may have the resources to provide for the children’s travel, it is often impossible for the parents to accompany their child due to formidable expenses and missed work. While there is often little direct medical help they can provide, their very presence alongside their children – holding their hands in cold operating rooms or keeping them company during long and lonely hospital stays – can make all of the difference in the world to these scared children. It is for this reason that Miracle Travel Works was created. We help families with seriously ill or injured children, birth through 18 years of age, travel as they undergo urgent medical treatments. Through your donations, either online via this web site or at any of the fundraising activities which we organize, we provide families with the support they need to help their children get the best treatments available, and to be there with them through it all. We provide financial assistance for travel expenses for the children and their families, and we assist families living in the Midwest states, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
