mLogic designs and markets innovative LTO archiving solutions featuring the high-speed Thunderbolt™ interface. Prior to founding mLogic in 2011, Roger Mabon our CEO started G-Technology a popular brand of external hard drive solutions for Macs. G-Tech was purchased by Fabrik, Inc. in 2008. Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (HGST) purchased Fabrik in 2009 where Roger ran the G-Tech business unit. And in 2012, Western Digital acquired HGST. Prior to founding G-Technology, Roger was vice president of marketing at Medea Corporation, a manufacturer of RAID storage solutions for content creation applications, which was acquired by Avid Technology in 2006. Roger spends most of his time at mLogic developing affordable and easy to use archiving solutions to ensure that all of the media on all of those hard drives is preserved for the future.
