About Moot
Moot. The social space. We believe life is better in real life. Yet finding safe, inspiring places to collaborate, celebrate, create & play has become harder than it should be. That’s where Moot comes in. Moot is a purpose-built social space in NW London, designed to bring people together & bring out the best in them, across our three core functions of work, play, and youth. For work, awaydays and workshops at Moot are guaranteed to have real impact. The space instantly puts teams at ease, the fluid layout means there’s room for everyone, with break-outs galore, and Paul & Cheryl are on-hand as experienced facilitators to help you get what you want from your time together. If play’s your thing, there ain’t no party you can’t host at Moot, from karaoke-fueled birthday parties & dance-filled bat mitzvahs, to social gaming nights, private space for faith groups to let their hair down, and a welcoming home for creative communities to collaborate, rehearse and perform. Then comes youth, and our core mission of creating safe & inspiring spaces for young people to spend time together IRL. So 3 days a week, Moot hosts Moot Youth, our not-for-profit arm, creating space for 11–17 year-olds to hang out, face-to-face with friends. With chilled sessions, social events & creative workshops at its core, Moot Youth is about togetherneness — no pressure, no performance, just real-world socialising. Moot was founded by Cheryl Calverley (former CEO of eve sleep) & Paul Billingsley (former Managing Director of adam&eveDDB) to tackle one of the most profound challenges facing society: the destructive impact of record levels of isolation, loneliness & anxiety driven by the loss of social spaces. Moot takes the best of membership clubs, youth organisations & local hospitality to create a new, scalable model for social connection — at the forefront of the #IRLRevolution.
