The National Rugby League (NRL) is the world’s premier rugby league competition run by the Australian Rugby League Commission. The NRL is responsible for administering the NRL & NRLW Telstra Premiership, State of Origin series, NRL All Stars, Australian Kangaroos and Jillaroos. The NRL is also responsible for participation and development of grassroots Rugby League in Australia and 2017 saw record numbers of participants, with a significant increase in female participation.
