About New Strategy Center

The current activities of the New Strategy Center also cover such subjects as domestic developments in Romania as relevant for national security, military modernization and defense procurement, energy security, cyber security and hybrid threats. We strongly believe that the main issues about national security entail the necessity of political and national consensus. We need a coherent policy in the security field, as well as we need medium and long-term strategies to be undertaken and carried through by all the political forces, regardless of the successive governments in power. This is because, beyond political sympathies and beyond the left or right political orientation, there is Romania.
