About NoSo Connection Collective
We are a collective of ethical technology and digital wellbeing advocates that empower and equip young people with the tools, knowledge, and practices to build a healthier tech-life balance and improve mental health. We use an ABC framework strategy delivering results through our three key services: Awareness - school programs, Behavior Change - NoSo November detox movement, and Community Building - mindfulness events. A - School Programs: Youth speakers, supported by our NoSo youth-led staff, lead interactive, research-based presentations, workshops, and activities in schools about social media and generative AI. This includes reflection workbooks, informational posters, content consumption ‘audits’, and guided personalized detox checklist sheets designed to spread awareness, improve mental health and foster a healthier tech-life balance. B - NoSo November Detox Movement: In collaboration with partner organizations, we aim to solve the collective action problem by encouraging youth and their families to take a one-month or shorter social media detox to promote behavioral change. Participants can sign up on our website and receive promotional and support materials. The movement is promoted and managed by our NoSo staff, with youth ambassadors around the world promoting the movement and hosting events across the country during the November challenge.
