At the same time, the system can monitor the treatment progress of the child in real time, provide feedback to the care givers through tele-medicine features and auto adjust the treatment protocol using AI and big data technologies. Legacy screening methods fall short Traditional vision assessment methods undergone by hundreds of millions of children worldwide every year are not sufficiently effective to detect many visual impairments including amblyopia, are manual, subjective, time consuming and often inaccurate; especially for toddlers who can’t always understand examiner instructions or communicate what they’re seeing. In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of children's vision assessment, NovaSight has developed EyeSwiftPRO® - an automated, portable and easy-to-use eye-tracking based system.
