Open House Lofts is the original non-traditional research and innovation loft. Founded in 2001 by a planner, researcher and moderator who had grown disillusioned with sterile, lab-like focus group facilities and panel-based recruiting, our spaces in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago were designed around a single belief: inspired ideas only flourish in inspired environments. Our lofts are creatively non-traditional but built with research in mind — every space, every amenity, every detail purpose-built to support focus groups, IDIs, workshops, ethnographies, and stakeholder sessions. Clients and respondents alike experience a refined, boutique environment with all the standard services of a traditional facility. And then some. What truly sets us apart is recruiting. Open House Lofts handles all recruiting in-house. We do not use online panels. We do not let digital surveys or AI bots screen respondents.
