About POB Eye Hospitals Karachi
Prevention of Blindness Trust is A registered charity NGO for treating preventable causes of blindness. Since July 2017, POB has provided free-of-cost treatment for various eye disorders to marginalized communities in Pakistan and Africa. With a vision to help those who face monetary constraints, POB Eye started serving in 2011 through our 'outreach programs designed to bridge the distance between our patients and us within Karachi. POB Eye is a network of 4 full-fledged hospitals in Gulistan e Johar, Federal B Area, Adamjee Nagar Dhoraji, and Surjani Town, respectively. POB VISION: A world in which no one is needlessly blind and where those with avoidable blindness can achieve their full potential. POB MISSION: To work to eliminate the avoidable causes of blindness regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, and nationality. POB OBJECTIVE: Prevent and treat all eye diseases by continuously upgrading our institute with the necessary resources and coordinating refresher courses for staff members.
