Portland Paints & Products Nigeria Plc (a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc) is a leading decorative and industrial paints company with upwards of 40 years’ experience producing, distributing and marketing a wide array of products that support the building and construction industry in Nigeria Our flagship brand is Sandtex high quality decorative paints which have been formulated after many extensive researches to provide protection and aesthetics for all types of residential and commercial buildings. Portland Paints & Products Nig. Plc. is a leader in the Nigerian paints Industry. Our Company started off as a small division of a large cement manufacturing company – West African Portland Cement (WAPCO). It was incorporated into a Limited Liability Company in September 1985. We became an independent company in 2004 and later became a Public Company on 3rd April 2008. The Company was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday 9th July 2009. Portland Paints became a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc. in June 2013 after UAC acquired 51% equity stake in the company. Portland manufactures and markets an impressive array of high quality brands as follows: Sandtex High Quality Decorative & Industrial Paints Hempel Marine & Protective Coatings for the Oil and Gas sector Armitage Shank and Ideal Standard high quality sanitary ware These brands are the focus of continuous innovation so that they meet and exceed our customer’s expectations.
