About Redefining Boundaries Inc
Redefining Boundaries Inc is a social impact venture on a mission to reimagine what it means to not only survive, but more so thrive as a minority group in the technology scene. At present, we’re focused on re-painting the face of technology to add some more melanin. Thanks to the phenomenal support of our partners @ Airbnb, Facebook, Michael Seibel @ Y-Combinator, NEA, Kleiner Perkins, Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures, Twilio, The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Backstage Capital, David Tscich @ Box Group, Steven @ Foundation Capital, General Catalyst, First Round Capital, and eBay, in 2018 (and, in the space of 8 weeks), we launched our inaugural project: the Redefining Boundaries Fellowship. Together, Redefining Boundaries Fellows are a community of crazy ambitious, talented, resilient, humble, story-telling and heavily melanated Product Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers. Between us, we are 40% women, 60% men, 17% LGBTQ+ and on face value, our heritages are rooted in either the UK or USA. Scrapping the surface a little further, however, and you’d realise our roots go as far afield as Jamaica, Nigeria, Denmark, Cameroon, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Ghana, China, and India. Following a super promising and exciting launch in 2018, we’re currently in undetectable stealth mode working on what’s next.
