It is an inter-governmental organization and currently has 20 contracting Member States in the Eastern and Southern Africa Regions namely; Botswana, Burundi, Comoros, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, South Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Vision To be premier centre of excellence in provision of geo-information, allied technologies for sustainable development in the member States & other stakeholders Our Mission To promote sustainable development through generation, application and dissemination of Geo-Information and allied Information Communication Technology (ICT) services and products in the Member States and beyond.
