River Road Asset Management, LLC ("River Road") is an institutional investment management firm committed to being a leading world-class provider of value-oriented equity asset management services. The firm was founded in 2005, with a history that dates back to 1998, by a team previously employed by Commonwealth Trust Company and SMC Capital Inc., subsidiaries of Kentucky-based Commonwealth Bancshares. As of March 31, 2026, we manage more than $11.6 B in total assets*. Our strategies are offered through institutional separate accounts, collective investment trusts, and sub-advised U.S. and non-U.S. mutual funds. We are a model portfolio provider to various investment advisers and sponsors of wrap programs. Our investment philosophy is based on our proprietary Absolute Value approach initially developed by the firm’s co-founders.
