About Samadhan Abhiyan
Samadhan Abhiyan is a legal awareness initiative dedicated exclusively to spreading awareness about the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) in India. We believe that laws cannot protect children unless people understand them. Our mission is to make POCSO known, understood, and acted upon—so that silence is replaced with awareness, awareness leads to reporting, and reporting leads to protection and recovery. Since 2015, we have been working at the grassroots level to build a culture of legal awareness, responsible reporting, adult accountability, and survivor-centric rehabilitation. Our Impact So Far: • Active across 4+ districts (6+ CFCs) • 700,000+ students, adolescents, and adults reached through workshops • 5,000+ trainers trained to further spread POCSO awareness • Years of on-ground and digital sensitization experience Our work integrates awareness with action through: • Simplifying child protection laws • Promoting responsible and lawful reporting • Sensitizing adults, institutions, and systems • Supporting rehabilitation pathways for survivors in collaboration with stakeholders • Building long-term, law-based awareness and accountability Samadhan Abhiyan focuses on legal empowerment and survivor dignity, not charity.
