SAYE is a conscious retro-sneaker brand rooted in timeless design, ethical production, and an unwavering commitment to quality and durability. Founded in 2018 in Poblenou, Barcelona, our mission is to create footwear that respects both people and the planet — without compromising on craftsmanship or style. Our sneakers are made in ethical factories in Portugal and Spain, using certified materials, including responsibly sourced leather, organic cotton, and recycled or bio-based components. Since 2018, SAYE has planted over 325,000 trees worldwide, delivering on its promise to plant two trees for every pair sold. Projects span Zambia, India, Australia, the Amazon, and more, and are facilitated through partnerships with NGOs and organizations like Veritree and One Tree Planted. Starting in June 2024, SAYE expanded its impact model to marine environments. Through a partnership with Veritree and Ocean Wise, SAYE now plants one kelp strand in the Pacific coast regions of British Columbia, Canada (and also Chile) for each purchase of the M89 Ground model. This initiative supports underwater biodiversity and carbon sequestration.
