About Service Dogs for Veterans
Service Dogs for Veterans (SD4V) exists to help Veterans reclaim the freedom and independence lost to PTSD, TBI, and MST. We believe healing is strengthened through partnership. Rather than providing a fully trained service dog, we guide Veterans through a proven program that trains them and their own dog to become an ADA-compliant Service Dog team. Together, they build the trust, confidence, and skills needed to navigate daily life with greater independence. Every Veteran's journey is unique. Throughout our three-phase program, each participant is supported by experienced trainers and a dedicated Veteran Advocate who understands the importance of encouragement, accountability, and community. Our program is designed to complement, not replace, the care Veterans receive from their healthcare providers, helping them move forward with courage, confidence, and hope.
