From its humble beginnings in Jeffrey Coopers kitchen, alongside Sam and Jim Henderson, Sitting Pretty was formed in 2002 and grew rapidly enough to transfer production to a small industrial unit in 2004. Today, Sitting Pretty has grown into a nationally recognised brand of lift chairs, complementary sofas and beds. It proudly employs 70 people and continues to grow. Recently acquired by Pride Mobility - one of the largest Mobility companies in the world – Sitting Pretty’s operations are being streamlined and production will be expanding to Europe.
