About SMA | Sales Management Association
Wat maakt dat sommige organisaties decennialang relevant blijven? In ons geval: een vakgebied dat nooit stilstaat én een community die blijft bouwen. De Sales Management Association (SMA) is dé beroepsorganisatie voor salesprofessionals op elk niveau. Sinds 1971 zetten wij ons in voor het professionaliseren van het salesvak. Opgericht door onder meer Heineken, Unilever, Nestlé, Douwe Egberts en Nutricia, bouwen we al ruim 50 jaar aan de ontwikkeling en erkenning van sales als professioneel vakgebied. Dat we na al die jaren nog steeds relevant zijn, is bijzonder. Zeker omdat de SMA een vrijwilligersvereniging is. Juist dat maakt de kracht van onze community zichtbaar: betrokken professionals die zich samen inzetten voor kennisdeling, ontwikkeling en verbinding. Jaarlijks organiseert de SMA circa 30 bijeenkomsten verspreid over Nederland. Het hoogtepunt is het SMA Sales Summit in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk, waar inspirerende inhoud, ontmoeting en erkenning samenkomen. Tijdens dit evenement vinden ook de SMA Award verkiezingen plaats voor CCO van het Jaar, Sales Manager van het Jaar en Young Sales Professional van het Jaar. Daarnaast accrediteert de SMA opleidingen en certificeert zij professionals. Samen blijven we bouwen aan de verdere professionalisering van het salesvak.
