South Sudan Youth Leadership Scholars Network Program (SSYLNET) is a youth-led nonprofit organization committed to providing underprivileged and displaced youth with access to quality education, global opportunities, and human capital development through intergenerational leadership, career pathways, competency-based skills training, and evidence-driven policy and systemic interventions. Since its inception, SSYLNET has transformed the lives of over 500 underserved youth, supported and mentored more than 100 refugees and internally displaced persons to secure scholarships at leading African universities across Africa and beyond. The organization has expanded access to primary education for 500+ children, successfully reintegrated 100+ girls who had dropped out of school due to displacement into secondary education, and implemented AI-driven teacher training programs that have strengthened pedagogy and enhanced curriculum delivery across participating schools. SSYLNET’s ongoing initiative is the Refugee Nexus Hub, a centralized resource center in displacement camps projected to impact 30,000 underserved young people by 2030. The hub will integrate education, technology, vocational training, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship programs to improve employability, strengthen community resilience, and drive sustainable human development, creating pathways for youth to become empowered agents of change.
