About Southport Chamber of Commerce
The Southport Chamber of Commerce exists for the local community. By ensuring a strong business environment we see that the community as a whole will prosper and develop. The Southport Chamber of Commerce exists to service it's members and the local business community by providing a voice for business owners in the region in shaping your future as a member of the local business community. We are the longest established Chamber on the Gold Coast with a strong association with the business community and have been instrumental in assisting the future viability of many of our members' businesses as well as our local community. The Southport Chamber of Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organisation that exists for it's members and is run by an executive committee made up of members who contribute their experience, skills and time to help shape the Chamber into being a valued service for business owners. No matter how small or big your business is - the Southport Chamber of Commerce has something to offer you. We offer a range of services to our Members including: 1. Networking events including breakfast and after work social meetups 2. Inclusion of your business in both our Member's and Local Business Directories 3. Professional development workshops and seminars (coming soon) 4. Regular Newsletters with information about local events and business tips Southport is the heart of a strong and vibrant business community based in the northern half of the Gold Coast. In an independent study by Australian Property Investor in August 2011, Southport was listed in the Hot100 places for investment in Australia, the ONLY Gold Coast area to be included in this list.
