Our light filled studio in Turner enjoys a leafy urban outlook here in the centre of Canberra. SPACELAB’s interactive environment nurtures the energy and enthusiasm of our entire project team of urban designers, statutory and feasibility planners, landscape architects and conceptual artists to push boundaries and challenge the norm in the pursuit of exemplary outcomes for our clients and the future residents of the spaces and places we create. We uncover and realise a site’s potential working around and through planning and legislative obstacles to deliver high quality projects. In our pursuit of design lead development, we challenge ingrained process and conflict between policy areas to find workable pathways to benefit the people who will live there. Our foundation of experience spans decades. Our focus is on the future. WHY WE DO IT SPACELAB pursues leading edge design outcomes, challenging policy, and process because advocating for a better design is aspirational and purposeful. Our experience has shown that investing in high quality design is not just good practice.
