About Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba launched the SSSVV program on 23rd November, 2010 to meet the growing need for holistic education for all. This project harnesses technology to replicate on a national scale, the success of the model of integral education followed at the Sri Sathya Sai schools and university in Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh, which combines values-based education with academic excellence. It aims to create a generation of well-qualified young men and women, with a burning desire to serve the motherland, a strong sense of responsible citizenship, integrity, broadmindedness and empathy for their brethren, apart from a spiritual outlook. The guiding principle of SSSVV is to make human-values-infused secular information available freely to teachers and their pupils.
