About Students Technology Empowerment Programme
S.T.E.P is a not-for-profit initiative high school students. STEP involves more than just training, it is designed to identify and develop the specific ICT potentials of participating students. Our approach also focuses on continuity and sustainability of new skills and knowledge students will acquire. Students will also be going for short internship placement so they can apply what they learned, thereby gaining experiences and more knowledge! 1. High level of Digital illiteracy amongst public high school students 2. Untapped Talents i.e. prodigies 3. Theoretical and backward Computer Science classes It takes place every summer starting this year. Students can enroll on www.step.com.ng
