PIANO NOBILE is an architecture, interiors, and landscape design studio based in Seattle, Washington. We specialize in complex problem solving for residential homes, including historic homes, challenging site conditions, sensitive remodels and innovative new construction. Our team works closely with clients throughout the research, design, and construction process to create environments that are unique and personal, grounded and authentic. OUR STORY Isabelle Grizzard and Nickolas Robertson founded Piano Nobile in 2005 in Brooklyn, New York. From the beginning, the studio has centered a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving, from their first residential and commercial architecture projects in New York, to launching a successful wholesale product line that sold throughout North America and Japan. Now based in Seattle, Washington, the studio has grown to include a resourceful, inventive team with a deep background in hands-on design and construction.
