TESAR (Training for Early-Stage Researchers on Evidence-Informed Policymaking) is a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Its mission is to bridge the gap between research and policymaking by empowering early-stage researchers (ESRs) with the knowledge, skills, and tools to turn evidence into impactful policy. Over the course of 30 months (September 2025 – February 2028), TESAR brings together universities, research institutions, and training providers from across Europe. The project supports ESRs—including Master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral fellows—in developing both theoretical and practical competences for Evidence-Informed Policymaking (EIPM).
