About Association for Women in Cryptocurrency

The Association for Women in Cryptocurrency (AWIC) is a platform for women and supportive allies, who seek to enhance their knowledge and education in the growing field of cryptocurrency and other digital assets, blockchain, web3, and related technology and services while advancing the opportunities for women and the role they will play in the future of these technologies. Men still far outnumber women as cryptocurrency industry decision-makers, advisers, and entrepreneurs. That’s why Amanda Wick, our Founder and CEO, and the former Chief of Legal Affairs at Chainalysis, Inc., with extensive experience as a federal prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, decided to start the Association. Importantly, AWIC is more than just a networking association; its mission is for women in crypto - and their allies - to truly help each other succeed. AWIC offers various opportunities for education, development, and advancement. There is an indisputable truth that information is power, and those who gather it will attain the competitive advantage necessary to succeed as entrepreneurs, executives, and advisers. Going forward, it is the Association’s intention to ensure that women who seek to succeed in the web3, blockchain, and digital asset industries possess the support and access to education, financing, and other opportunities and resources necessary to maintain that competitive advantage. We hope you'll join us! Amanda Wick, Founder and CEO
