About The Australia Times

THE AUSTRALIA TIMES is a free, non-aligned, grassroots, national online publication. We are a blend of professional and citizen journalism. We would like to establish relationships with retired, amateur, or student reporters, photographers, and other interested persons in all parts of Australia. We also welcome all Australians living abroad who would like to join us and contribute content. We are looking for stories on anything from school & club sports, traffic accidents, bush fires, floods, local dances & fashion, BBQs, picnics, the latest scandal at the local council, and anything else that your own community, or others, would find of interest. This would suit anyone from students, budding reporters, or photographers, who want the experience and some great exotic content for their CVs. It would also suit hobbyists, trades people, professionals, and retirees. In regional areas there is also the opportunity for several people to get together as a group. There our ‘local bureau chief’ could co-ordinate activities and reporting. If you gather an interesting enough team, you could start reporting about your own BBQs… The opportunity here, in addition to finding fame and fortune, is to connect, via our forums, with like minded individuals and mentors.
