About The Cart Shed Charity
The Cart Shed charity enables adults and young people to manage their mental and physical health and well-being in a sustainable way. Based in north Herefordshire we transform lives by using the principles of Occupational Therapy which helps people find meaning, purpose and a future. Our woodlands lend themselves to enabling individuals to overcome and accept episodes in their lives they find difficult to live with; such as a result of the loss of a partner or close friend, difficult working conditions, or poor health. We work with individuals from all backgrounds, lifting labels and minimizing stigma. There are no walls, badged health professionals or waiting rooms.... .... just the peace of the woodland. In 2017 we received The Queens Award for Voluntary Services. In 2019 we received the Herefordshire Community Champions Volunteer Award.
