Lisa had been subjected to intimidation and control by Gittany in the time leading up to her tragic death. When she attempted to escape, Gittany responded with aggression, ultimately ending her life by dragging her back into their apartment. The Foundation works to honor Lisa's memory by supporting those affected by domestic and family violence, and striving to prevent such tragedies from happening to others.
