Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) is a not-for-profit initiative equipping young people (aged 10–18) with future-ready skills needed for a ever-changing world. We're dedicated to igniting the entrepreneurial spark in young people by giving them the tools, confidence, and mindset to turn their ideas into real businesses. Through hands-on, interactive programmes, YEA teaches young people how to identify problems worth solving, develop creative solutions, and present their ideas with conviction. Our mission is simple: to make entrepreneurship accessible, exciting, and achievable for every young person, regardless of socio-economic background or neurodiversity. The flagship programme, Basics of Business: Beginner to Boss, supported by UCL's School of Management, UCL's Institute of Education, and award-winning entrepreneurs, is currently being used by hundreds of schools in the UK, and internationally, and supporting thousands of young people. Through 20 engaging, digital-first lessons, learners explore core business concepts, financial literacy, innovation and how to turn their ideas into actionable business plans in a fun, accessible way. With a bonus of receiving a UCL-endorsed certificate upon completion. We are always keen to connect with educators, policymakers, youth organisations, corporates, and anyone who shares our belief in the potential of young people.
