Teaching & Mentoring Young Leaders exists to create communities where young people are supported, confident, and prepared to succeed in every aspect of life, by providing innovative tennis, education, life skills, and leadership development programming. Education plays a crucial role in a kid’s life. At TMYL, we want to help set the youth of Lansing up for a bright future by providing academic tutoring that will bolster their confidence and create opportunity. We strive to provide a sense of community, belonging, and support to our Lansing youth, creating an environment where our participants can learn, grow, and achieve. Physical activity is not only important for the physical health of Lansing youth, but also mental and emotional health. We provide a safe space where kids can play tennis and build their growing skillsets.
