About Technology Transfer Office of NTUA
The Technology Transfer Office (ΤΤΟ) of NTUA was re-established in 2020 with the aim of effectively connecting Institution’s research activities with the productive fabric. This connection aims both at strengthening production and economy, but also at strengthening and expanding the research activities of the Institution, with a focus on the academic principles and the ethical rules of NTUA. The ΤΤΟ supports the academic and research community members that have concluded with potentially commercially exploitable research results or creative ideas and are willing to explore the possibility of transform them into products and services offered by viable business ventures. In parallel, the ΤΤΟ is addressed to the members of the productive sector that are looking for applied research solutions, products and and services that can be developed in collaboration with NTUA community. Το Γραφείο Μεταφοράς Τεχνολογίας ΕΜΠ επανιδρύθηκε το 2020 με στόχο την αποτελεσματική σύνδεση της ερευνητικής δραστηριότητας του Ιδρύματος με τον παραγωγικό ιστό. Η σύνδεση αυτή προσβλέπει τόσο στην ενίσχυση της παραγωγής και της οικονομίας, αλλά και στην ενίσχυση και διεύρυνση της ερευνητικής δραστηριότητας του Ιδρύματος, με προσήλωση στις ακαδημαϊκές αρχές και τους κανόνες δεοντολογίας του ΕΜΠ. Το γραφείο υποστηρίζει τα μέλη της ακαδημαϊκής και ερευνητικής κοινότητας τα οποία έχουν καταλήξει σε δυνητικά εμπορικά αξιοποιήσιμα ερευνητικά αποτελέσματα ή έχουν δημιουργικές ιδέες και επιθυμούν να διερευνήσουν τη δυνατότητα να μετατραπούν σε προϊόντα και υπηρεσίες που προσφέρονται από βιώσιμα επιχειρηματικά εγχειρήματα.
