About UBCO Aerospace
Welcome to the UBCO Aerospace Club! We are a student club based in Kelowna, BC. Here is a quick rundown of what is going on right now: - Our unmanned aerial vehicle team is working towards competing in the national UAV competition for the third time after getting second place twice. Projects we are currently working on include a carbon fiber aeroshell, long range data transmission, machine learning, and more. - Our rocketry division is aiming to compete in the Launch Canada Competition. Projects for that team include hybrid motor implementation, electrical system development, controlled descent mechanisms, and more. - Our fixed wing division is focusing on developing a 3D printed airplane for mass manufacturing. This is a more laid back project that isn't competitive like our other projects. If you have any questions or ideas for projects please don't hesitate to reach out!
