About University of Waterloo NanoRobotics Group
The University of Waterloo NanoRobotics Group consists of over 30 undergraduate students in programs ranging from Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics. We design and test microrobots to compete annually in the Mobile Microrobotics Challenge and Microassembly Challenge at ICRA. We are the only fully undergraduate team that competes annually, and have won two 1st place finishes, and have placed in the top 3 teams. We encourage and promotes innovation in Nanotechnology at the University of Waterloo. Every Fall Term, we recruit a diverse group of talented individuals. Team members gain experience in microfabrication, cleanroom techniques, electronics, and coding complex computational algorithms.
