Cervical precancer affects 300 million women worldwide. Today's treatment, the LLETZ/LEEP procedure, has remained unchanged for 40 years. It requires surgical expertise, an equipped operating room, and causes significant patient anxiety. Most of the women who need it never receive it. Valéb is changing that. Developed by gynecologic surgeon Dr. Dirk Coeman, Valéb is a minimally invasive device that replaces LLETZ/LEEP with a faster, safer, and simpler procedure, one that requires no surgical expertise. This makes advanced cervical precancer treatment deployable at scale, in low-resource settings and high-volume clinics alike. We have completed preclinical validation and are currently in FDA pre-submission. We are actively seeking investment partners to advance to first-in-human trials and enter the US market.
