About West Point Cycles
West Point Cycles is British Columbia's oldest bicycle retailer, first opening the doors on their West 10th. Ave. location in 1930. Starting out as a bicycle and lawnmower shop, West Point has evolved over the years to become the industry leader in customer service and satisfaction. As a major force in the birth to the mountain bike scene in Vancouver, it was the birthplace and original home of Rocky Mountain bicycles as well as many of the most well know brands in the local bicycle industry. Having matured into a comfortable and safe retail environment for every cyclist, we'd like to welcome you to come by and visit. Let any one of the friendly and knowledgable staff answer your questions and help guide you, whatever your cycling need. West Point Cycles is a family owned business with the current owners having worked in the business for almost 10 years before purchasing it. Since that time, they have built a passionate and committed team who share their love of bicycles and the bicycle business. We like to think of our team as a family and strive to ensure that each of them has an engaging and rewarding career so they can pass their enthusiasm, as well as professional experience on to our customers. West Point Cycles is CUSTOMER FOCUSED AND BICYCLE DRIVEN and each day, our team strives to give the best customer service experience possible. Our loyal customer base is what drives our business and our customers continue to be our top priority. While the bicycle industry continues to change and grow, West Point has grown with it while remaining “The Neighbourhood Bike Store”. It is important that customer’s feel comfortable coming into our store. We continue to sell children’s bikes all the way up to full custom road and mtb bikes. We have professional fit services as well as a full service repair shop.
