About ZHYTIO
The security of the food supply has become crucially important globally due to unprecedented escalating climate changes and the growing world population (10B by 2050): food and water resources have become the most important. Ukraine has always been the breadbasket of Europe, and now there is a unique opportunity to participate in the development of this sector due to the following factors: - The proportion of unused agricultural land is among the highest in the world (and agriland ratio, 65%); - Crop yields are significantly lower than in the USA or Western Europe thus there is enormous improvement potential; - The Ukrainian grain silo storage facilities are still underdeveloped (both in terms of technology and capacity); - The improvement of this sector offers significant returns as it takes advantage of the commodity-based element of the food supply chain with exceptional cost and quality advantages. - The initial accumulated investment size is set at $10M USD. After closing the first round of investments we target an increase to about $ 100M to expand our activities to food safety-related operations as well as logistic facilities and infrastructure.
