Since 1997, the Competition graduated the most brightest tech minds of the region; competing and showcasing their creative programming & problem solving capabilities, and get exposed to the tech job market around the world. ACPC exists in 24 countries in Africa and Arab world: The Arab countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Sudan, Syria, and Tunisia. The African countries: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Niger , Senegal, South Africa, Togo. ACPC has diversified contests to meet different segments; ACPC Kickoff, ACPC Girls, ACPC teens, hackathons, and intensive problem-solving training programs. Each participating country at the ACPC is called region, those regions organize their own official contests by their own capacity under the rules of ICPC and ACPC. The winning teams of each region are qualified to participate in the ACPC, then the ACPC winning teams gets qualified to the ICPC "International Collegiate Programming Contest" the world finals that gather the top tech teams from all over the world.
