About JAM the label
We are JAM. JAM the label is an Adaptive Fashion brand founded in 2019. JAM creates Adaptive Clothing that makes the task of dressing easier or more comfortable for people with Disability to wear. JAM was founded by Emma Clegg and Molly Rogers. Two Occupational Therapists and Disability Support Workers with over 18 years combined experience in the Disability sector. Through working with two of their favourite clients, Jack And Maddie, Emma and Molly noticed that dressing was a task that was taking a long time, was not easily done and was uncomfortable for them. They looked around for more suitable clothing options and quickly found that whatever was comfortable and easy - for Jack and Maddie and themselves - was not cool or suited towards young people wanting to express themselves through their fashion choices. JAM’s clothing is widely available through their online store as well as other retail platforms such as THE ICONIC. For Australian consumers who have Low Cost Assistive Technology funding available within their NDIS packages, they can utilise their funding to purchase our products as they are considered Assistive Technology.
